Blockage in Your Tunnel!

Image
Imagine driving on a beautiful afternoon. As your driving, you approach a tunnel. Your car enters the tunnel and suddenly things do not appear to be so brighter. As you continue to drive you can see that there is light at the end of the tunnel.   Many of our lives are like this. Everything appears to be perfect and then suddenly something dims our lights.    For some of us, there may be a huge truck driving in front of us, which is blocking the light at the end of the tunnel. We all have trucks in our lives that we need to move past to see the light. Some have big trucks and some may have small trucks.  What happens when you can get around the truck? The key is to keep driving. You cannot stop or else you’ll be the cause of traffic.  That’s how God feels about our lives. The enemy may try to cause blockage in our tunnels, but we have to keep going even if we can’t move around it. The cars behind us are the souls that God has assigned to us. When you quit ...

Blessed with rejection.

Image
Many of you read the title and thought “how can rejection be a blessing?” have been rejected many times and each time the feeling always made me feel less than. Do you remember how you felt when you were rejected? Rejection is often looked at in a negative way. Rejection is not always a bad thing. It can mean God has something better in store for you. I remember applying for job after job and having interview after interview. It seemed like no one wanted to hire me. After months of looking for a job God finally opened the door for a job that paid $7 more than what I made and also had a more flexible schedule. Wow, God is just amazing. I was rejected by someone I held on a high pedal stool. I looked up to this person and wanted this person to train me. God had other plans for me. The person I least expected to get me ready to do God’s will is who he chose for me. I must say the training has been amazing. I share these things to say no matter what the rejection is or when it is t...

Blessed to have faith in a healer.

Image
This past week I took a fall which ended with a sprained knee and ankle. As I lie in bed looking at my swollen knee thinking to myself “I can’t wait for this to heal”, I thought about the people of this world. We are in a time when the entire world needs healing. We need healing from a virus, healing from a disease, healing from the loss of a loved one, financial healing, etc. Many people are crying out for healing. Many don’t know who to turn to or where to go. Did you know we serve a God who is capable of all things? He is the ultimate provider. He is a HEALER. All it takes is for you to have faith in what God can do in your life. Last night I tossed in turned uncomfortable. I laid there silently praying “Lord I know you are a healer, please take this pain away so I can rest.” Shortly after I was sounded asleep. I believed that God would relieve my pain so I can rest. Just like the woman with the issue of blood, her faith may her well. “And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith ha...

Blessed with the right hand of God.

Image
We are in a time where prayer is very strategic. More people are dying every day. The people of God are living in fear. God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Ask for God to give you the power to conquer fear. Ask God for a peace that surpasses all understanding. While you're praying for God to do those things also pray that God would send now His right hand to smash the enemy. “Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.” Exodus‬ ‭15:6‬. God is alpha and omega. He has all power. The very thing that the enemy is using to destroy God’s children, God has the power to smash with his right hand. How big is your faith in what God can do? Do you even have faith the size of a mustard seed? Ask yourself those questions and if you answer no to any of those then it’s time to do a self-check and really seek the face of God. He has blessed us with His right hand and we must rely on it. ...

Blessed with a gentle God.

Image
Many times we feel like God is punishing us. We feel like temptations are always after us. We say things like ”If God has all power, why is He allowing these things?”  Many of us feel that God will not set us free from the things we need to let go of. We begin to question his abilities and authority. I’m here to tell you that we serve a gentle God. God will not enter where he is not welcome. You have to WANT to be free from sin. God can not deliver a person that does not want to be delivered. God is not a God of punishment. God is not of evil. “Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1:13‬‬‬. Learn to fight temptations in the spirit. Temptations are driven by your own desires. Give God permission and access to search your heart. Ask Him for help, but only if you really desire help. He is willing and capable, but only if you would allow him to do so. Be Blessed!

Blessed with a miracle.

Image
We live in a world where miracles and signs seem to be nonexistence. I want to have a transparent moment with you all. God has given me many miracles and signs to increase my faith and trust in him, but I neglected Him until now. In 2018 I experienced severe pelvic pain. Pain that would leave me crying some days. I went to my GYN and she ordered an ultrasound. My ultrasound revealed that I had fluid in my left fallopian tube, which was causing pain. My doctor explained that I would have the option of living with it or having it surgically removed. She said the chances of getting pregnant in the future would be slim. I opted to hold off on surgery. At 27 years old I was devastated and very afraid. I kept quiet about this. I had only informed a few people. I spent many days crying and praying that God would heal me. About 3 months later I asked for a repeat ultrasound and it was ordered. The day after the ultrasound I went back to my GYN for the results and my doctor said “Your ult...

Blessed with the presence of God.

Image
Did you know that once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior that the Holy Spirit will dwell within you? Did you know that as children of the most high God you carry his presence with you at all times? God’s presence is what makes you different from others in the world. “How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.”  Exodus‬ ‭33:16‬  When you carry the presence of God other people will notice something different about you. God gives us an assignment here on earth. It is your job to spread the gospel. It is your job to speak with truth and love. You do not have to be a pastor, teacher, apostle, or prophet. God just wants you to do His will. Many would say it’s hard, but in reality, it’s not. You carry the presence of God and all you have to do is ask him to give you the words to say. The Holy Spirit will provide you with the...
