Blessed With The Armor Of God.

Image
The enemy has a job to do. His job is to kill, steal, and destroy. We learn that in John 10:10.  He strives to do all he can do to us. God gave us a gift and it's called the Armor of God. We must always use the armor of God when we are on the battlefield with the enemy. There were times I thought the devil had won. There were times I wanted to throw in the towel, but God said: “put on the armor and fight back in the Spirit.” It's time for you to put on the belt of truth. You know who you are in Christ. You no longer have to believe the lies of the enemy. Put on the breastplate of righteousness for God purchased you at a high price. Satan's attacks can't match our righteousness. Put on the shoes of peace, which come with the good news of the gospel. Hold up your shield of faith to block the enemy's attack. Put on the helmet of salvation, which is our impenetrable defense against satan's attacks. Finally, take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Go...

The Blessing That Comes When It Rains.

Image
We use the expression "when it rains, it pours" quite often. Most of the time we use the expression when life becomes harder than usual or when we experience tribulation after tribulation. How many of you know that we need the rain to help our seeds grow? When life gets out of hand just know your seed is about to grow. "Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from the heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness" ACTS 14:17.  God provides the rain in your life so we can fill our hearts up with gladness. Our tribulations are apart of our testimonies. There's a blessing that comes at the end of the storm. The rain in your life isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes it is needed so that you can grow. Hold on tight and don't give up the fight; the sun will shine again. Be Blessed!

Blessed With A Vision.

Image
Sometimes we second guess the vision given to us from God. We box out the authority we have. We don't think we are capable of making the vision come to fruition. We ponder on the very thing God has given us to birth. We search for confirmation. We ask others for their opinion.  We look for reasons and excuses as to why we aren't qualified to get it done. We seek prophecies after prophecies before we finally decide to make a move. A lot of us are just like Gideon. Just as God helped Gideon overcome the very thing he told him to do, he can do the same for you. God is looking for people who trust him. He wants you to step back and allow him to guide you.  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding." Proverb 3:5. If God gave you the vision then it shall come to fruition as long as you do the work.  There is no devil who can stop what God wants for us. Trust the process. Be Blessed!

Blessed With Authority!

How many times have you said something and it happened? We often hear people use expressions such as “Speak it into existence” or “ Be careful what you wish for; you just might get it”. I am a believer in both, but I wasn’t always. The bible teaches us that we have the power of life and death in our tongues. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:21‬ ‭NKJV‬ I am a victim of speaking negative things in my life. Some times I am a victim of my own negative thoughts. I am still working on shifting the way that I think. I’m practicing when those thoughts come to think of something positive. I am getting better with not speaking negative things into my life. God showed me just how much power and authority I had in my tongue. For example early this year I would say “I am going to be married by the end of the year” or “Watch by the end of the year I’ll be a wife.” Not realizing I was speaking marriage into my life. Now h...
