Blessed with endurance.
Many of us are struggling in our walk with Christ. It's because we are carrying the weight of sins. We are struggling to let go of the very thing that is keeping us from growing closer to God. That thing may be alcohol, drugs, or even a toxic relationship. These things are stumbling blocks.
I talk about protecting your witness often. As Christians, we are always being watched. People of the world are always waiting for us to trip up. At times it seems easier to keep sinning oppose to walking the straight and narrow path. How many of you know that God’s promises are much greater and bigger than the things the world has to offer?
It's time to shift your walk. It's time to let go of the baggage. Some things may seem impossible to shake or give up, but God will give you the endurance to finish the race. We have to hold on to his promises and his word. Believe it in your heart that God will always have your back.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” Hebrews 12:1
Be Blessed!
