Blessed With Acceptance!

Image
“May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Romans‬ ‭15:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬.  God has created each of us to be different. It’s not by accident we each have our own fingerprint. Everyone may not dress the way you dress, talk the way you talk, or even carry their selves the way you do. God has created some of us small, tall, thicker, and thinner, but he loves us equally. Although we come from different backgrounds, we still serve the same God. God doesn’t see us as color. All he sees is his children. Everyone won’t be your “cup of tea”. , but it is time to accept one another as Christ has accepted us even through our mess. We are perfect people. We all fall short of his glory. God wants us all to become one voice. The voice that spreads the gospel. If you are s...

The Blessing in a Breakthrough!

Image
I have been going back and forth about doing this post. It has been tough to write about what I am currently dealing with. I am waiting for my “breakthrough”. Week after week the enemy has been attacking me. Now, most will say “when the enemy is working hard to break you, you are about to reach your breakthrough.” This post is not only to encourage you but to encourage me. The enemy has a job and that is to kill, steal, and destroy according to John 10:10.  We have to stand strong and trust in the Lord through these trying times. God will always be there.  “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”  Isaiah‬ ‭43:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ We are not to fear the things that satan is throwing at us. Even when it seems like the trials and tribulations are never-ending. God has our backs. He will provide you with the strength and reso...

The Blessing In Suffering!

Image
We experience many trials and tribulations throughout our lives on earth. I know I have "suffered" from life "mishaps." I have been bullied, physically, emotionally, and mentally abused. I had thoughts of suicide that I have never discussed with others. I know many of my readers are reading this probably in shock. Thank you, Father God, for transparency. When we turn our lives over to God we expect everything to be a walk in the park. This walk isn't easy. It's spiritual warfare going on everywhere. "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down the stronghold." 2 Corinthians 10:4.  We have to learn to fight in the spirit. We have to learn that the word of God and prayer are our weapons to fight back against the enemy. Allow the Holy Spirit to be your guide. God rewards faithfulness. We just have to stay faithful to him and continue to honor him. We must continue to read his word and seek his face.  ...

Blessed with witness protection.

The life of a Christian isn’t easy to live. We are constantly being watched and judged. We are not perfect people. We all fall short of his glory. “ For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭NLT ‬ As a believer, you have to be cautious of what you wear, what you say, and how you do things. I call it “ Protecting your witness” . You have to protect your witness at all times. Someone is always watching you. As a believer, you can’t participate in the things of this world. “Don’t participate in the things these people do.” Ephesians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I was recently in a situation that involves me protecting my witness. I have friends who still do things I used to do. I was tempted to drink alcohol. If you have been following my blog then you know I just posted I have been 7 months free of alcohol. Things were said to me that seems pretty convincing, but I did not give in. I’m not saying I don’t fall short of God’s glory, but I had to pro...
