Blessed With Acceptance!
“May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6 NLT. God has created each of us to be different. It’s not by accident we each have our own fingerprint. Everyone may not dress the way you dress, talk the way you talk, or even carry their selves the way you do. God has created some of us small, tall, thicker, and thinner, but he loves us equally. Although we come from different backgrounds, we still serve the same God. God doesn’t see us as color. All he sees is his children.
Everyone won’t be your “cup of tea”. , but it is time to accept one another as Christ has accepted us even through our mess. We are perfect people. We all fall short of his glory. God wants us all to become one voice. The voice that spreads the gospel. If you are struggling to accept a brother or sister, pray and ask God the Father to help you accept them. Ask him to humble you and give you patience with them. The body of Christ shouldn’t be a place of competition. We shouldn’t be divided. The enemy loves division and confusion. It makes it easy for him to sneak in. Our father isn’t the God of confusion. “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” I Corinthians 14:33 NKJV.
We need each other in the body. God is calling on us to come together. I challenge you from this day forward to come together and love one another despite your differences. There’s a blessing that comes when you accept those who aren’t like you. Stay encouraged!
