Blessed with contentment.
In today's world, everyone is striving to make it to the top; rather it's in school, at work, in church, even out on the street. We monitor the moves of others and wonder how can we get to where they are or how can we surpass them. I have found that when we are monitoring the work of others it is usually because we are not content with where we are in life. Most people become envious of others. Usually, we are envious of the riches here on earth. Psalms 36:16 "A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked." The bible teaches us that it is better to be godly and have little than to be rich and evil. The bible also teaches us not to covet our neighbors. We have to learn to love God in all situations. We need to learn to be content with what we have and with where we are. “I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.” Philippians 4:12. Allow contentment to be your friend and apart of your lifestyle. Honor always Father in heaven right from where you are. God's promise is much greater than any worldly thing you can obtain. There is no room for competition in the kingdom. Applaud your brothers and sisters and love God for all that you have no matter the amount.
