The Blessing in Waiting.
Many of us feel that our spiritual gift(s) are laying dormant because we’re not actively being used. Many people are being told “you're not ready” or “have patience, this isn’t your season”. It may not be your season. You may feel like you’re playing the waiting game.
“No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:16-17
During this season of waiting, God is operating in the secret place. He may be removing fear and the nervousness you feel while speaking in large crowds of people. He may be giving you more wisdom while building your character. He can be removing the impurities from your heart. God may be correcting your motives for why you want to use your gift. Allow God full access to you while you wait; that way when he releases you, no man can speak any wrong on what God has done.
Be Blessed!
