Blessed to have God's grace.
God gives us grace even when we are undeserving of it. I can count numerous times God gave me grace even when I was living recklessly. I would like to share with you two situations where God gave me grace.
In 2013 I was with my friends having a few drinks when I received a call from a guy I was dating off and on. He asked me to go grab food with him and I agreed to go. I got in the car with him and we drove about 3 minutes from my home before our car collided with another. I did not have a seat belt on, but by the grace of God I walked away with minor scratches, a few bruises, and a strained shoulder; when I should have been ejected from the vehicle.
In 2016 I was changing my 8 days old baby's diaper when she sneezed and suddenly turned blue around the mouth, which let me know she could not breathe. I quickly instructed her dad to call 911 as I started to breathe into her mouth. My baby had regained color, but about a minute later she turned blue again. Starting the steps over my baby was then breathing normal and crying. The ambulance arrived and took us straight over to the hospital, where she was then admitted to the pediatric ICU. I begin to cry, but all I could do was thank God my baby was alive.
James 4:6 "He gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." I am a firm believer that because I have such a humble heart that even in my "mess" God gave me his grace. I shared this to show you all how much God loves each of us even when we do not deserve his love. Keep a humble heart; God values that.
Be Blessed!
