The Blessing In Sowing A Seed.
There are blessings that come with sowing seeds. Some of us sow seeds tithing faithfully or even sowing seeds through our ministry work. We have all heard the phrase you "Reap what you sow!" That phrase isn't always meant to be taken in a negative connotation. When you sow a seed God will always bless you with a harvest.
I would like to share with you how God blessed me for sowing seeds faithfully. God was lining things up for me and I didn't even know it. My commute to work has not been the greatest experience. Driving every day in traffic to work takes me almost 2 hours to get there and 2 hours to get home, for a drive that should typically take 25 minutes. I'm sure you are now imagining my frustration. Commuting to this job caused me to make a few sacrifices that I must admit I am not happy about.
After praying I decided that it was time to make moves. On Monday June 3rd I decided to up date my resume. On Tuesday June 4th I applied for several positions. On Thursday June 6th I received two phone calls asking if I would like to come in for an interview. Office A is apart of a very large corporation , which I had 7.5 years of experience working for them. Office A asked me to come in for an interview on Tuesday June 11th. How fortunate I already had the day off, of course I agreed.
That Tuesday I put the address in my GPS for office A, only to notice that it was 10 minutes from my home. Okay God I see you ! I sat in the parking lot and decided to pray before going in for the interview. My prayer was "God you know what is best for me. If this is for me then it is so. Even if this is not for me I am thankful for the opportunity. I ask that you speak through me and for me; and that you allow them to see you through me. I ask that you allow me to leave a piece of you behind. In Jesus' name Amen!" I went in and of course the manager loved me so much he asked if I would do a phone interview with HR, which I did. The phone interview went great! I was then asked to meet with the site director, which I did , and she loved me as well. Before leaving I gave permission to run a background check and obtain references.
On Tuesday June 18th I received a phone call offering the job without having to take a pay cut. My God you're is so amazing!!!! Just shy of 2 weeks he provided me with a new job. Luke 6:38 "Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return in full-pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."
There are blessings when you sow a seed. God will always provide a way for his children. Rather it's a new car, a financial increase, a new house, new a job, or even a paid bill. Blessing from God come in many ways. Sow from your heart and watch how God blesses you.
Be Blessed!
