The Blessing In An Accountability Partner!

There are times we all slack off. I recall a time before I had completely given my life to Christ, I had fallen short. I was battling wanting to be like my friends and wanting to live for Christ. I had gone out to the club one night with my friend. The outfit I wore was inappropriate. I was uncomfortable in it, but I wanted to look like everyone else. I felt convicted.
After church that Sunday one of my fellow sisters pulled me aside and she said "Have you lost your mind? What's going on with you? I have seen the outfit you wore the other night in a picture that was posted on Facebook." At that moment I realize that I could no longer live a double life. I knew I had to choose who I wanted to serve. My decision was to live for Christ.

I thank God for my accountability partner. Iron sharpens iron. My life changed for the better. I shared this to say it's okay to be an accountability partner. It's okay to check up on each other. We do not know what someone is battling. Your checkup can really impact them in a positive way. We need each other.

Be Blessed!
