Blessed to have faith in a healer.

This past week I took a fall which ended with a sprained knee and ankle. As I lie in bed looking at my swollen knee thinking to myself “I can’t wait for this to heal”, I thought about the people of this world. We are in a time when the entire world needs healing. We need healing from a virus, healing from a disease, healing from the loss of a loved one, financial healing, etc. Many people are crying out for healing. Many don’t know who to turn to or where to go. Did you know we serve a God who is capable of all things? He is the ultimate provider. He is a HEALER. All it takes is for you to have faith in what God can do in your life. Last night I tossed in turned uncomfortable. I laid there silently praying “Lord I know you are a healer, please take this pain away so I can rest.” Shortly after I was sounded asleep. I believed that God would relieve my pain so I can rest. Just like the woman with the issue of blood, her faith may her well. “And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” Mark‬ ‭5:34‬ This is the hour to have faith in God our healer. Fall to your knees and ask God to heal your situation and watch Him do it. Just keep the faith in Him even if he doesn’t do it right away.

Blessing in Friendships.

We all know by now that friendships don’t always last forever. Some friendships are just for a season. In that season God uses that person(s) to bring something out of you. I’m in a space in life where my circle of friends has changed. Although God has replaced the friends I have lost; I am truly grateful for each friendship. In this season God has given me friends that have become my sisters through Christ. Each one of them has played a part in my spiritual development; rather it is to hold me accountable for my thoughts and actions or to push me to new heights in my walk with Christ. God has given me sisters who won’t let me go back to partying and drinking alcohol. He has given me sisters to remind me of the spiritual gifts he has implanted in me. The Blessing in a Breakthrough!

I have been going back and forth about doing this post. It has been tough to write about what I am currently dealing with. I am waiting for my “breakthrough”. Week after week the enemy has been attacking me. Now, most will say “when the enemy is working hard to break you, you are about to reach your breakthrough.” This post is not only to encourage you but to encourage me. The enemy has a job and that is to kill, steal, and destroy according to John 10:10.  We have to stand strong and trust in the Lord through these trying times.
