Blessed with an account.
The enemy has a way of trying to intimidate us. I allowed him to get into my mind for a very long time. Afraid to be me, afraid to be who God has called me to be. God has reminded me that I am his and that he loves me, just like he loves each of you. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of who we are in Christ.
For a long time, I was embarrassed to show the world that I had found Christ. I wasn’t embarrassed by God but embarrassed of my own past. I had sinned so much that I allowed that to be my excuse for keeping quiet about God. I thought who would listen to me after all the things I had done? How can I be a witness of Christ after the sins I have committed? I thought people would always reflect on the bad and not the good. Then I realized those were all seeds planted by the enemy. He knew that my testimony would touch others. He knew that my life would be an example no matter what I had done. It’s not too late to live for Christ. God has been good to me on countless occasions. He has blessed me beyond what I deserve. The enemy will use your past to try to intimidate you. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:7 NLT. Don’t allow the enemy to put fear in you. Share your testimony. Even if one soul is blessed by.
I shared this scripture before, but I felt lead to share it again. Luke 1:1-2 “Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us. They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early disciples.” You have your own account, use it! You are the eye witness for God’s goodness in your life. Don’t allow the enemy to intimidate you and keep you quiet about how good God is to you. God wants the world to feel his love. It is our job to share how good he has been to us.
Be Blessed!
